Term 2
This term we will be looking at all the changes that are happening in our environment as we move into Autumn and Winter, and also thinking about the different festivals that we like to celebrate. Things get very exciting in the second half of the term as we approach the Christmas break, and there will be lots of fun things happening.

What an incredible Term 2 we had! After immersing ourselves in our key text, 'The Everywhere Bear', each class now has an 'Everywhere Bear' (or Bee, or Dragonfly, or Butterfly!) of their own, and the children have really enjoyed taking their new class mascot home and sharing their adventures with the class on Tapestry.
We have made the most of our local community and had two trips offsite this term, to King George's Park as part of our Science and Geography learning, and to Tunstall Church to see the amazing Christmas tree festival. On our welly walks, we have been exploring seasonal change in our woods, and have been inspired by Andy Goldsworthy's art, to create our own masterpieces using natural resources.
